Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew as a child in Mexico with a family that loved music. She grew up listening mostly to traditional music, old boleros, and the traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana loves tangos as well the dramatic and opera performances. Following her singing lessons with mom at the age of 12, she took up more rigorous training in vocals at age 16 under the guidance of the renowned Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. She furthered her training in music in the School of Music of Guadalajara University, then at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. She sang in Guadalajara, Mexico City and different cities when she was a young musician and student. Following her move to America in the year 2000, she joined the United States in 2000, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before shifting to her residence in the southern part of California. She is a frequent soloist at private parties and events and performs the traditional Latin American Music. In addition to being an instructor and performer in the local area, her love of art and music has her engaged in a wide range of different projects. Ana has also been previously a member of Community Chorus of Redlands as and The Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana is grateful for having the chance to share her passion and enthusiasm for traditional Latin American songs with others and, in the process hopes to instill a sense of to, particularly in the younger age group in order to keep this tradition alive.Viva Mexico!
